Troubles and Accidents

I discovered a malfunction in my bicycle before using it.

we would appreciate it if you could report the situation to the Machi-nori Office by phone (076-255-1747), email (info@machi-nori.jp), or by launching the application and clicking on the “Report Problem” button.

I discovered something wrong with the bike right after I rented it.

Please return the bicycle to the port and switch to another bicycle. If you return the bike to the same port within 5 minutes of the cancellation, you will not be charged.

There are no vacant racks at the port, but the app shows that parking is available.

Even if the racks are full, you can return your bike if it is within the port range. The app will also show that “Parking is available.” Please make sure to manually lock the bicycle and press the “ENTER” button to confirm that “Return” is displayed or blinks in blue followed by a blue light.

My bike got a flat tire or was stolen.

Please contact the Machinori Office (076-255-1747).
We will respond after confirming your name, contact information, situation, and membership details. Reception hours are 9:00-18:00

I had an accident while using Machinori.

If you are involved in an accident, please take steps prescribed by law such as contacting the police immediately.
After that, please contact the Machi-Nori Office (076-255-1747) and inform them of the date, time, location, cause, and circumstances of the accident.
If a settlement is required regarding the accident, you will do so at your own risk.
Furthermore, notwithstanding the above, if the Organization suffers damage, including cases in which the Organization is forced to pay compensation to a third party, the Organization may claim compensation for such damage from you.
Please note that damage insurance will be applied to any accidents that occur during use. However, we cannot be held responsible for any damages that are not covered by insurance.

*Insurance premiums are included in the usage fee.

The bike was removed.

Please contact the Machinori Office (076-255-1747).
If your bicycle is parked in a no-parking zone and is removed, you will be responsible for all costs associated with removal, storage and return.

My rented bike was stolen.

Please contact our Customer Support Center at 076-255-1747.
If the damage is due to the user’s negligence, the user will be required to pay the actual cost.

I can’t unlock my bike.

The key may be caught on something, so make sure it cannot be moved with your hand.
There may be a problem with the locking mechanism, so please use a different vehicle.
If you are unable to use other vehicles, please contact the Machi-Nori Office (076-255-1747).

My bicycle was temporarily parked at a port or near a port, but was returned.

If a bicycle is locked at the port and the “ENTER” button has not been pressed, it will be automatically returned 15 minutes after it is locked.
This function prevents overcharging for extension fees due to incomplete return and prevents the next user from using the equipment.
When “temporarily parking” your bicycle, please park it somewhere other than a port. (Parking in no-parking areas or on sidewalks is not permitted.)
Also, please be aware that even if you are near a port, your bicycle may receive radio signals from the port and be automatically returned.

*One-day passes are not eligible for the automatic return function, but please refrain from temporarily parking your bicycle at the port and park it somewhere other than the port. If patrolling staff discovers your bicycle temporarily parked at the port, they will return it to port. We appreciate your understanding of bicycle sharing.

I lost the card key for the bike.

Please “cancel card key registration” in the app.
If you want to use a different IC card, you will need to register it again.

Machi-nori bicycle has left unattended. Who should I contact?

Please contact the Machi-Nori Office (076-255-1747).
We will check the location and situation and take appropriate action.

I can’t receive emails from Machinori.

Maybe your mobile phone or email service has spam settings set up. If it is set, please allow the “docomo-cycle.jp” domain to receive emails. In addition, an email containing a URL will be sent as part of the procedure, so please make sure to disable the “rejection setting for emails containing URLs” on your mobile phone.
